‘Deal or No Deal’ host Howie Mandel gets Meghan Markle’s woes: ‘It wasn’t fulfilling’
Markle, 33, and her fiance Nick Jonas, 34, married on Saturday in a private ceremony at one of Nick’s childhood homes in Malibu, California.
Earlier that day, Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, flew in from New York to attend the show’s final taping.

“The wedding was absolutely amazing,” Meghan told reporters on Saturday from their hotel room. “We had an amazing and beautiful time.”
Asked whether the show could have been more “real” and less in character, Meghan said she and Nick knew what they were doing.
“It was very real and very authentic and very real,” she told reporters.
Her fiancé confirmed to PEOPLE that there were many moments in the show that he did not believe he was actually seeing Meghan as they said their vows.
Markle said the show was the first time she and her mother went to see a Broadway musical and they were so impressed that she immediately thought of how the show could be on the TV show “Deal or No Deal.”
“I said ‘This is going to be fun’ and I went into the kitchen and started to cook some shrimp on the grill because that’s something we haven’t done together in years, and we said ‘Oh, oh, oh,’ because we just thought that would be the greatest,” Meghan says.
“But we were pretty surprised by the shrimp cooked and it turned out great. But we said, ‘OK, so what show are we going to do?’”
Meghan, who said the show was like “a great Christmas,” said her mom was a “little bit more nervous” than she expected because of how she had seen her daughter so much in the past on the show.
“My mom is an incredible performer and she really believes that in acting. She has been doing it for a long time and she doesn’t take any chances in anything that she does,” Meghan told reporters.
