“There are three or four White males from the intelligence community that are testifying before Congress today that I don’t think will be much help to the Democrats. That is inappropriate, that should not happen. So I do understand their concerns… This is a White male dominated organization in the intelligence community,” Schiff told Jeff Zeleny on MSNBC.

Zeleny suggested that the public comments will prevent the Intelligence Committees from being able to make a deeper dive into the issues raised at today’s hearing.

“It gives them more time to be able to prepare to take testimony…I think the committee is about to slow-walk a more substantive questioning on some of these issues,” he said.

Rep. Schiff agreed with him: “If you were from one of the other parties, and you were subpoenaed to be here to talk to the House Intelligence Committee, there would be big issues about what the motives were.”
